We are encouraging chapter members to get involved and volunteer on a committee to help the chapter reach new milestones. Our chapter would benefit in countless ways from your participation. You can refer to the committees tab for a description of each.
If you would like to serve on one of these committees, or any other, please contact Alison@fpakc.org
“Volunteers aren’t paid, not because they are worthless, but because they are priceless.”
Pictured above, FPAGKC Past President Trevor Harris, CFP talks to elementary school students about the importance of planning for the future during a Junior Achievement session. Since 1995, Kansas City corporate and community volunteers have been delivering relevant, hands-on experiences that give students, kindergarten through high school, knowledge and skills in financial literacy, work readiness and entrepreneurship. JA programs empower students to make a connection between what they learn in school and how it can be applied in the real world – enhancing the relevance of their classroom learning and increasing their understanding of the value of staying in school.
